Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have been enjoying a luxury trip to Jamaica this week, following an appearance at the glitzy film premiere of Bob Marley: One Love in Kingston on Tuesday night.

The couple walked down the red carpet event together in a surprise appearance as they posed on their date night and even got pictures with Bob Marley's family and Paramount's CEO who produced the new biopic.

Harry and Meghan were reportedly flown to the Island by CEO of Paramount Pictures Brian Robbins who is said to be a close friend of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex according to reports in the Mirror.

The Times reports that "the Sussexes were flown to the island by private jet courtesy of Paramount Pictures, the production company behind the new biopic Bob Marley: One Love".

And the couple, who moved to the US after stepping down as Royals in 2020, have been spending their time in Jamaica in style as they spent the night at the five-star Half Moon resort in Montego Bay.

At this lavish resort, four-bedroom villas are reported to set you back an eye-watering $4,300 (£3,400) per night. According to MailOnline, the couple stayed in the Eclipse section of the resort, which is reported to have an opulent private beach, intimate swimming cove, and security.

On the resort's website, it states: "Framed by the glistening Caribbean Sea to the north and the lush hillsides to the south, Eclipse at Half Moon is one of the most luxurious additions to the Caribbean in a generation.

"The new property features 57 luxurious and spacious accommodations, two restaurants, three bars, a market café, Fern Tree – a Salamander Spa, a sweeping infinity-edge swimming pool, and private beachfront with a natural swimming cove."

Elsewhere, Harry and Meghan spent Tuesday during the day enjoying a private tour of the Bob Marley museum, with them reported to have spent an hour inside the exhibition before attending the premier the same evening and met with Ziggy Marley.

They also are reported to have attended the afterparty situated at the five-star Terra Nova hotel in Kingston as they were among around 60 other guests. Harry and Meghan were in "high spirits" and enjoyed cocktails while partying the night away.

Paramount's CEO, Brian Robbins, is reportedly friends with the Duke and Duchess, with him and his wife owning a $17 million home in Montecito, which happens to be extremely close to the Sussexes' Montecito mansion that they called home since 2020.
