Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been issued a warning by a royal expert who has advised them to brace themselves for "worse things to come" as a "fresh bomb" will be coming their way in Spring.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex found themselves at the brunt of a savage joke during this year's Golden Globes even though they didn't attend.

Host Jo Koy poked fun at the couple during his opening monologue as he also fired shots at the 'rich, white and dysfunctional' Royal Family, the Express reports.

He said: "Succession has nine nominations. Just a great series about a rich, white, dysfunctional family, all scheming -- oh, wait, that's The Crown. I'm sorry."

Koy then took aim at the Sussexes as he said: "Harry and Meghan Markle got paid millions for doing absolutely nothing. And that's just by Netflix."

Author and socialite Lady Colin Campbell has now made a cryptic comment about the couple's future as she warned them about a "real bomb coming their way" in the springtime.

When asked about how bad things will get for the Sussexes, Lady Colin told GB News: "So I can guarantee that they’re going to get an awful lot worse.

"Wait until spring, they have a real bomb coming their way in spring. I think they’re going to be completely exposed before this summer, let me put it that way.

"I think they are going to be in such deep trouble, it’s going to be nothing that we can imagine. I think the chickens are coming home to roost in a very big way."

When asked what she means by this, the 74-year-old simply said: "Well, I’m afraid I can’t say beyond this.

"But believe me, I know what I’m talking about, and I know who’s going to drop the bomb."

Lady Colin Campbell gave no further suggestion on what news she was referring to.

Her warning comes after Harry and Meghan have suffered a whole host of ridicule in the past 12 months from the Golden Globes to being mocked on South Park as well as being branded "grifters" by the Spotify CEO.
