Kylie Jenner accused of copying former brother-in-law Kanye West with new clothing line

Kylie Jenner has been accused of copying Kanye West's Yeezy fashion brand with the launch of her new clothing company.

Kylie launched Khy earlier this month, debuting with a sleek black leather coat. She later modelled more leather items from the brand during a night out with her pal Hailey Bieber and sister Kendall Jenner, who also wore Khy pieces. Now, the 'self-made' billionaire has launched a cream-coloured puffer jacket, a stark difference from the dark and mysterious items she initially brought out.

Kylie took to her Instagram Stories in an all-cream outfit, topped with the puffer jacket. She later announced that the jacket would come in multiple colours, including bright blue and black, as well as different lengths.

She wrote the caption: "KHY DROP 002. puffers + base layers coming 11/15 @khy." However, fans in the comments couldn't help but compare the design's to the 2021 Yeezy GAP Round Jacket.

One wrote: "Ahh looks just like something Kanye would design!" before a second put: "Everybody acting like Kanye didn’t invent this whole look."

A third typed: "y'all stealing Kanye's designs now ??" followed by a fourth who added: "Now we know where all the Adidas/Yeezy unsold merchandise went," alluding to Adidas previously cutting ties with Kanye and his Yeezy brand after he made anti-Semitic remarks.

According to Page Six, fans could be onto something as Kylie revealed that Khy “collaborated with Entire Studios” — a clothing brand owned by Sebastian Hunt and Dylan Richards Diaz — for the latest drop. Both Hunt and Diaz have been tapped by the Yeezy founder, 46, in the past. In fact, they helped him style his Season 3 collection in 2016.

The Kardashians star also came under fire from Betsy Johnson who designs for Products Ltd. She claimed that Kylie has taken her ideas and used them to make money with the newly released fashion range. Betsy took to her social media to make a scathing post about Kylie, 26, claiming she is drowning in debt while Kylie profits from her work.

She wrote: "We emailed Kylie and all her team @products.ltd concept and language and a line sheet 6 MONTHS AGO. INTERESTING CONCEPT KYLIE:...INTERESTING. Thanks for the co-sign. F**k your support."

Kylie has remained silent on the accusations but did talk to The Wall Street Journal about her new business venture. She said: "Creatively I have such a strong vision of what I want to look like and what I want to do and what I want to wear. There's really no one telling me what to do."
