Add Magic Johnson to the list of people who fully endorse Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship.
While on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the NBA Hall of Famer and part-owner of the Washington Commanders shared his perspective on the new couple — and how the music superstar has impacted pro football.
“By the way, get one of those Commanders to date Taylor Swift. It seems like you make so much money,” Kimmel, 55, joked to the basketball legend.
“Exactly, well, the NFL is very happy about that whole situation,” Johnson, 64, laughed in response.
In September in an appearance on ESPN's First Take, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban jokingly offered up one of his players as a potential suitor.
"Taylor...sorry if you're listening, Travis. Break up with him, I got a bunch of good-looking single guys that play for the Dallas Mavericks. I got you," Cuban, 65, said.
Kelce, 33, saw the billionaire's remarks on social media and hilariously responded.
"Just sign me to a 10 day," Kelce wrote in a post, teasing the Shark Tank investor by suggesting he could play for the Mavericks on a limited contract.
With Swift’s effect on the sport proving lucrative — and her appearance at games impacting even Kelce’s play — Johnson would seemingly welcome any positive attention on his team, which is often described as “consistently inconsistent” and currently sporting a 4-5 record.
It’s also reminiscent of another pro sports owner who has previously said he would encourage any publicity his team could get via the music superstar.
