Prince Harry is reportedly concerned about his wife Meghan Markle as he fears her workload is having a negative impact on her health, according to a source.
The Duchess of Sussex is said to have lost weight in recent months, with suggestions that it's linked to the pressure around Meghan's desire to become a big name in Hollywood. A source has said those close to her have noticed and are worried about the former actress.
"Something's seriously wrong. She's obviously not taking care of herself and is looking scary skinny. Meghan is cracking under all the pressure, and it shows," the source claimed.
Suggesting why Meghan may have been struggling recently, the source said she was unhappy after being "blamed for Harry's estrangement from his family". The Duke of Sussex has had a tense relationship with the Royal Family after stepping down in 2020. The source pointed out that Harry has repeatedly said it was actually his idea to leave The Firm.
They also suggested that money woes are an issue for Meghan, claiming her and Harry's bills are "piling up". The couple were axed by Spotify earlier this year as they lost their $20million (£16.4million) deal with the streaming service.
Speaking to In Touch Weekly, the source said: "Meghan feels like she's constantly having to hustle to afford her and Harry's lifestyle. She's struggling to balance her time with them as well. She has a lot on her plate."
Harry is said to be aware that his wife "isn't herself". They said he's afraid Meghan will "suffer in the same way his mother did". The late Princess Diana famously struggled with bulimia.
The source said Harry's experiences "have made him hyper-aware of mental health red flags" and he's reportedly ready to take drastic action to help his wife. It's claimed he wants them to move away from Los Angeles as he believes it "isn't the best environment for her right now".
Harry is urging his wife to agree to a move to New York, according to the source, as he believes it will help her to be "happy and healthy". While Harry is up for the big move, Meghan doesn't seem as keen, with another source suggesting she has been "unconvinced".
"Meghan's so happy to finally be back in California - she can't imagine leaving. For her, it's Hollywood all the way right now. It would make zero sense to move," they told Heat magazine.
