Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 'living separate lives' in marriage

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are said to be leading "separate lives" in their marriage, according to royal biographer Emily Andrews.

Andrews claims that while the couple - who "pride themselves on their unbreakable togetherness" - had been "frequently apart" and "leading separate lives." She explained that it was reportedly because "Meghan preferred to 'look forward' in building a new lifestyle brand while Harry was more 'focused on the past.'"

Meghan and Harry have been focused on building their separate brands, with Meghan set to "make millions" as she takes a "step away" from their joint brand to work on solo projects. The cash boost is expected to be a very welcome to the couple whose $25million (£20million) deal with Spotify recently collapsed.

In her first step towards a solo career, Meghan recently signed with Hollywood talent agency William Morris Endeavour. The top agency has represented major stars including Dwayne Johnson, Adele, and tennis player Serena Williams.

And Harry is busy on his own projects as well. The royals is reportedly set to make his grand return to Africa for a new documentary with Netflix. He's said to be venturing into the project without his wife Meghan Markle, in the next phase of their $98million (£77million) deal with the world-famous streaming service.

"Meghan wants to move on from being a duchess and launch her own global brand. Harry though doesn't necessarily like the public's attention and would be much happier at home with the children, doing charity work, but that's definitely not what Meghan wants from life right now," Andrews told Woman Magazine.

"The Invictus Games was a chance to start afresh - with an emphasis that this charity was very much Harry's project. Her PR team with careful to brief that 'no-fuss' Meghan did all her own hair and makeup ... to appear relatable," she continued.

Andrews shared that Meghan "has star power" and will use that to build her separate brand apart from Harry, especially after her appearances at the Invictus Games. She said: "It's all part of a careful curation to remind us that while Meghan and Harry may be separating their brand, and even living somewhat separate lives, Meghan still has star power and she's not afraid to use it."
