Prince William and Prince Harry are still not on speaking terms, a royal source has claimed.
Their once-close brotherly relationship has hit an all time low in recent years following reports of a huge rift between the two after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the Royal Family in 2020.
It was rumoured that Harry had called a truce with his older brother but now speculation of peace talks between the two siblings have been seemingly shut down by a well-placed royal source.
The source claims neither of them have made an attempt to reach out to the other and no telephone or Zoom calls have taken place.
They said: “William hasn’t reached out to Harry and vice versa. They haven’t been arguing, but there hasn’t been any contact made either. No telephone calls, no FaceTime and no Zoom calls.”
Harry, 38 and William, 41, were often see laughing together in the past during royal engagements but are rarely pictured together these days.
In fact it's believed the two brothers have not came face to face since the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II in September last year.
Harry and William both also attended their father King Charles III's Coronation on May 6, making it the first time the two princes were seen publicly at the same event since the release of the Duke's bombshell memoir Spare where he made a number of shocking allegations against his royal relatives.
However, the two brothers were kept separate from one another during the historical occasion and Harry jetted back to California as soon as the official ceremony was over.
The Duke of Sussex did not hold back in his explosive memoir with a lot of his criticism being directed towards the future King, as well as his step-mother Queen Camilla.
However, King Charles and Kate Middleton did not escape Prince Harry's wrath either.
After detailing a physical brawl with his older brother, the Duke recalled how the Prince of Wales wanted him to retaliate against him.
Harry claims that his brother "grabbed him by the collar" as he retold the alleged incident in his book.
He wrote: "It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor.
"I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”
William allegedly accused Harry of acting like the heir and could not understand why his younger brother was not content with being the spare heir to the throne.
The Duke went on to further open up about the incident in his interview with ITV's Tom Bradby where he said: “What was different here was the level of frustration, and I talk about the red mist that I had for so many years, and I saw this red mist in him.
"He wanted me to hit him back, but I chose not to.”
Journalist Tom also questioned the dad-of-two about his drug taking confessions that he admitted to taking in the past.
The Duke replied: “There’s a fair amount of drugs. Marijuana, magic mushrooms, cocaine. I mean, that’s going to surprise people.
“But, it's important to acknowledge.”
